The food is great.

We were visiting from out of town, stumbled on this restaurant, wonderful food and service, we ate here several times, the portions are very good, the the rice!!

Portions where amazing, the little convenience store inside was cute and different, every one was polite and helpful.

Hot food. Variety. "Mall food options" with some southern/creole cuisine(fish, gumbo). You'll get full at this one. Cafeteria style.

Tasty Shrimp Po-Boy sandwiches & oven roasted potatoes! Easy in & out service, without much waiting time, even for special orders. Always enjoy going by several times for takeout of at-home family dining during our annual vacation visits here in NOLA.

The food is good, but they are not enforcing social distancing. That's a problem.

Some would say $8 a plate is pricey not if you're going to get the same quality he's time you go staff can be a little honoree if you like Saucy women the food is great quantity is good a great spot if you like to get the same Sanders

Place was just off an I-10 exit. The people were very friendly! Very friendly! All of the food looked so good and fresh. In my opinion..it wasn't the best place in Louisiana to get some really good Creole cuisine without breaking your pockets. The food tasted as if it was a sort of Creole Asian fusion. A taste I wasn't too fond of..yet it wasn't nasty. Overall some will like this quick, clean, convenient little spot...And some will not.

I love coming here with my gram when I visit home! This is the first place I go to every time bc the atmosphere is warm and inviting as well as the food. 🖤

I can always appreciate a place that serves hot food, with a smile, and excellent customer service. That is the experience I have in this place almost all of the time. Then too as a native, I highly recommend the gumbo and stuffed bell pepper.

Great food. Good service. Wonderful atmosphere. I've been going here for as long as it's been around. Nice area to have a great place. All around 5 stars! I recommend this place to everyone! They've got something for everyone. And you won't be disappointed. Did I mention ice cold beer on tap? And great views.... I'll be back catfish Johnny!

I ordered a stuffed pepper, shrimp fried rice and green beans. Food was good.. Rice was fresh, pepper was seasoned really well, the pepper itself was tough. But overall good stuff

Adequate sized portions of food at a great price. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and they serve avialble food right up to closing time.

Nice place to get takeout if you're in the area. It's cafeteria style and there's plenty of options to choose from. I usually get their chicken or catfish with roasted potatoes. The prices are reasonable for the generous portions they give and the workers are friendly. They'll let you sample some of the food if you ask too

Food is good, but they could switch up the food choices from time to time.

Very Large portions and great blend of southern and Chinese foods

Everything is seasoned with the same seasoning. The salisbury steak is not real beef.

The hot sausage poboy was pretty good and seemed to be freshly made, the other food options seemed to have been sitting for a while.

The restaurant side of Melba's has many, and I say many items to choose from on their menu and on the tray table that is behind the counter. Their food is A 1, and The Taste is above delicious. And if you go by chance after 10 p.m. to wash your clothes, they offered the dryers for free no purchase necessary. So while you're washing your clothes you may wobble over to the restaurant side which is in the same building separated by a small doorway and get you something to eat why your clothes are being washed and dried. It's a very clean establishment and the staff are very pleasant. I recommend this place to anyone that loves The Taste of Louisiana cuisine!!!

Always hot, seasoned well, overstuffed plated, great prices!!

They took forever to make a shrimp poboy. I asked for butter and hot sauce on it. There were literally 2 drops of butter on the whole sandwich.

Love this place! So many selections and everything is awesome, making it hard to pick what you want on your plate. Huge portions that two people can share. Customer service is A-1 and the prices are reasonable. Definitely recommending this place to others.

Food was real good. Store was clean and very good service.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food looked very good. However, everything I tried was very salty and either over cooked or under cooked. I’ve ate catfish all my life, but I’ve never tried to eat any that smelled that bad. It’s advertised as a buffet, but is more like a cafeteria, but looked like a convenient store without the gas pumps. Overall a big disappointment.

Busy place. All of the food looked good. The fried fish is pretty good and the shrimp pasta was decent.

My husband and I made our first trip to New Orleans, this was the very first place we ate there, and so glad we did, the staff was excellent and the food was AMAZING!!! It set our expectations very high for anywhere else we ate! Thank you!

The food is awesome. Everything is prepared fresh daily n also throughout the day. We have such a variety of different types of food. Try our shrimp po-boys roast beef po-boys made from a roast not deli meat...we have amazingly delicious salads...just stop bye n give us a try... U won't be sorry the food is delicious

They use small plates to make you feel your getting alot of food.

Bullard Seafood and Grill is very popular in New Orleans and the surrounding parishes and states. People literally travel just for their food. Their food is excellent. I love the seafood gumbo. I have tried everything on the menu. Everything on that menu is superb, I promise. The restaurant is very clean always. All of the staff are nice, patient and polite. When you visit there I'm warning you, picking from that menu is going to be very, very hard. It's a five star restaurant.

I've visited this established a few times and each time I was not entirely disappointed. Today I obtained the ribs, lo mein and stir-fried rice. I can honestly say most of the plate combos are worth the price charged. Nevertheless, the side items should not out-portion the main item. I have 1 full rib and what seems to be 1/3 of a rib compared to large amounts of lo mein and rice. However, as a suggestion, my ribs are falling apart and APPEAR tender, yet, upon eating it, it is quite tough. Seems overcooked maybe? On a previous visits I obtain the broccoli and the shrimp pasta. There should be some sort of seasoning or cheese provided for the broccoli. As for the pasta, the sauce it entirely too loose. I could only taste pasta noodles rather enjoy the full effect of shrimp, sauce and pasta. All the sauce is left in the plate to where you must drink it. That's not good. Lastly, there should be a rotation of variety side items rather the same ones everyday.
